Indigo Chair Yoga Club – A Morning of Movement, Creativity & Connection
Our latest Indigo Chair Yoga Club gathering was another lovely morning spent together, sharing gentle movement, creativity and good company.
We began with a gentle chair-based yoga practice, taking time to explore Trikonasana (Triangle Pose) in a way that felt supportive and accessible for everyone. Using the chair helped us play with the shape of the pose safely while still enjoying the stretch and openness that Triangle brings. There was a wonderful sense of curiosity in the room as everyone explored the posture in their own way, and it was lovely to see everyone enjoying the practice.
After our yoga session, the kettle went on and we moved into the creative part of the morning – collage card making. As we started, the room was beautifully quiet and mindful while everyone looked through materials and began choosing colours, shapes and textures for their designs.
Before long, the quiet focus turned into chatter and laughter as creativity started to flow. Ideas were shared, designs were admired, and everyone helped each other out with little suggestions and inspiration. It’s always such a joy to watch how naturally connection happens when people come together in a relaxed, nurturing space.
By the end of the morning we had a collection of beautiful handmade collage cards and lots of smiling faces. Moments like these are exactly what Indigo Yoga Club is all about – gentle movement, creativity, and the simple pleasure of spending time together.
I’m already looking forward to our next gathering.
