Indigo Yoga Club

Whenever I host or attend yoga retreats, I’m always struck by the deep sense of connection that naturally unfolds. They become spaces where people feel safe and supported — places to open up about life’s challenges and realise that we’re not alone in trying to navigate our way through it all.

Sharing yoga practice together is always special, with relaxed chats before and after, but retreat days are few and far between and seem to pass in the blink of an eye. That’s why I’ve decided to create a monthly gathering — a regular space where we can come together more often.

Each month we’ll enjoy some gentle yoga to release and move, followed by a different holistic practice. This might be Yoga Nidra, a restorative session, or even mindful art. There will also be time to talk, time to put the kettle on and enjoy a warm drink — and of course, cake.

So much of what our tribal ancestors knew has been lost — the simple act of sitting together around the fire. These moments of connection helped boost serotonin, supporting our wellbeing and resilience. This space offers a chance to reconnect in that way, and perhaps even make a few new acquaintances or friends along the way.
